Apple announces Black Friday deals on MacBook Air, MacBook Pro

Apple is looking to get you ready for Cyber Monday, the online shopping holiday that is set to unfold in less than a month. In an announcement this week, the tech giant announced some amazing Black Friday laptop deals for select models from all three of its Mac computer lines– the 11-inch MacBook Air, the 13-inch MacBook Air, and the 17-inch MacBook Pro.

Here’s some of the best deals Apple is announcing right now, so you can get into the holiday spirit with deals that also make future tech purchases quite affordable:

MacBook Air & 13-inch MacBook Pro

Apple will once again offer its MacBook Air for just $899 for the 13-inch model, a $200 discount from the normal price. These offers will be available for both the 11-inch and 13-inch MacBook Air starting October 28 and run until December 11, when you will have to cough up the extra grand or so to take them home.

The MacBook Pro will see a similar price cut, starting this year at just $1,099 for the 13-inch MacBook Pro or $1,299 for the 15-inch MacBook Pro.

Lenovo ThinkPad 10

Lenovo will once again have pricing to cool your laptop winter jet lag. Starting October 28, select ThinkPad 10 14-inch laptops and larger 17-inch models will have their starting price slashed by more than $400. Starting at $649 for the Lenovo ThinkPad 10 14-inch 1366 x 768 option, the starting price drops to $499 with a 1.83 GHz Intel Core i5 with 4GB of RAM and an 128GB solid state drive. For the 11-inch model, the starting price will be lowered by a massive $200 with prices ranging from $699 for the base model $799 up to $899 with a 2.2 GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB solid state drive.

Gaming laptops

Looking for a gaming laptop on the cheap? You are in luck. Lenovo will once again have 15-inch gaming laptops available starting at $1,499 for its refresh of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon with an Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. For a lower-tier 15-inch gaming laptop, you can pick up the Lenovo ThinkPad 11 14-inch model starting at $899 for a 0.67-inch thick design, Intel Core i7 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive.

Dell Inspiron 15

Looking for an affordable laptop? Dell will once again be having 30-day return policy on select Inspiron 15 3000-3020K and 3000-3150 laptops this November, allowing you to return any laptop for any reason this year at no cost. The 15-inch laptops include a 1.8GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive, starting at $400. You can get the 14-inch Inspiron 15 3000 for $450 at Amazon.

Chromebook

Looking for a cheap laptop with limited apps and upgrades? Google has you covered. Chromebooks can run your desktop software, but a lot of apps won’t work on them. Google’s laptops will stay the same price all month this year, making them even more affordable. You can grab the Google Chromebook Pixel for just $849.00, the Samsung Chromebook 2 for $499.00, the Acer Chromebook 13 for $349.00 and the Acer Chromebook 11 for $299.00.
